What materials is the Toddy® Artisan made from? Are they BPA-free?
Consistent with our commitment to product integrity and food safety standards, the Toddy® Artisan components are food-safe and BPA-free. All of our products and accessories are assembled with food-grade materials.
Should the components be cleaned before first use?
Yes. We recommend that you clean and sanitize all reusable parts before your first brew.
Which parts can go in the dishwasher?
All components are made from durable, food-safe, dishwasher-safe materials (although for the longest life, we suggest hand-washing).
How does the Toddy® Artisan filter out the coffee grounds?
The Artisan uses compostable paper filters that provide easy, clog-free draining and fast cleanup. The paper filters are specially designed to fit the Artisan.
Where should the filter basket rest after draining?
After draining, the basket conveniently nests into the inverted lid to keep nearby surfaces clean and dry.
Should the silicone basket guard (the protective ring on the filter basket) be removed when washing the kit?
To maintain maximum cleanliness and food safety, we recommend removing it for washing.
Does the Toddy® Artisan have a warranty?
